Obituary: Milton J. Martini, 71

Milton J. Martini, 71, of Middletown, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Koppel, PA, Milton lived in Columbus, OH prior to moving to Middletown.

Martini graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of the ROTC and was an avid fan of the Fighting Irish.

He worked for 17 years as an Area Vice President for Computervision Corp. in Bedford, MA. He was an Army Veteran having served during Peacetime in Korea.

Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Carol Santangelo Martini; son, Robert Martini and his wife Seiko of Holmdel; daughter, Robin Martini of Washington, MO; 2 grandchildren, Rayann Leslie and Katherine Martini; sister, Mary Jo Steck and her husband Richard; sisters-in-law, Patricia Santangelo, Kathy Marcantino, and Janet Mozzocio; brother-in-law, Louis Santangelo and his wife Janet, and 1 niece and 4 nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15 at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 at St. Catherine's R.C. Church, Holmdel. Interment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery.
