Obituary: William J. Geier, 89, With Family in Middletown
Owner of Pathway bakeries in NY and NJ.

William J. Geier, 89, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his home in Bluffton, SC.
Mr. Geier was born in Jersey City, NJ on September 14, 1924, the son of the late William Andrew Geier and Margaret Barry Geier. He was a longtime entrepreneur and motorcycle enthusiast. He owned Pathway Bakeries in NY and NJ as well as various jewelry stores in NJ. He was also an avid hiker and poker player.
Mr. Geier is survived by his longtime companion, Hildegard Zagorski of Bluffton, SC; daughter, Dihann Geier and husband Paul Levitt of Chesapeake, VA; sons, William A. Geier and wife Germaine of Middletown, NJ, and Andrew B. Geier of Bluffton, SC; sister, Margaret G. Penney of Tinton Falls, NJ; grandchildren, Jessica Geier, Julia Geier, Cory Levitt, Gregory Geier, Peter Levitt, and Jake Levitt, as well as great-grandchildren, Harrison and Cecelia Rose. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Geier's family will be receiving family and friends from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday October 5, 2013 with a service at 3:30 pm at the John F Pfleger Funeral Home 115 Tindall Rd., Middletown NJ 07748.
