Two proclamations were presented for the record, meaning that no one was present to accept the proclamations. One was to proclaim November as Veterans Day and the other was to recognize November 30 as Small Business Saturday.

An ordinance was passed to provide funding for an SUV for the Fire Dept. Two other ordinances were introduced, one of which would make a 4-way stop intersection at Cooper Rd. and Bowne Rd. The other ordinance would prohibit parking on Overton Dr.

Residents came to express dissatisfaction with redesign plans for Kunkle Park, in Leonardo. The Mayor said that there are no plans to work on Kunkle Park. Another resident came to report that the new construction of the Ice World building is presenting many problems. It was said that the plans had changed to construct a two story structure when a one story was in the original plans and nobody within the required 200ft of the construction was informed. They said that the noise from the cooling tower at the current building is constantly running and there is no buffer to quiet the sound. Residents had to call police to report construction taking place at 10-11pm and when Code Enforcement has been called for other violations, the residents were told that the Department does not enforce those codes.
Another resident came to ask about the construction of the new municipal building that much news was made promoting it. The Mayor said that construction would begin in the Spring.
