Owners Of Boat Abandoned Off Sea Bright Located
This motorboat had been abandoned and was leaking fuel when it washed up on the Sea Bright beach Sunday.
SEA BRIGHT, NJ — On Sunday, the Sea Bright Fire & Rescue Squad responded to a call of a motorboat that had been abandoned and washed up on the beach. The boat was also leaking fuel.
However, by Tuesday, the U.S. Coast Guard, which also responded, said they were able to contact the boat's owners, who are now responsible for handling the vessel.
Sea Bright Fire Rescue said the boat was found overturned on the beach in the area of the 300 block of Ocean Avenue. The 31-foot pleasure craft was leaking fuel and no owners could be located.
