Pedestrian Hit by Car in Middletown
The woman was hit Saturday night on Bray Avenue in Port Monmouth.

Middletown, NJ - A female pedestrian was struck Saturday night on Bray Avenue in Middletown, Middletown Township police said.
The crash happened at 7:01 p.m. on Bray Avenue in the area of Central Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of the township, said Det. Lt. Paul Bailey. A female pedestrian, whose name is not being released at this time, was struck by a motorist that was traveling on Bray Avenue. The woman sustained multiple fractures and was treated on scene by the Middletown Twp. First Aid Squad.
She was subsequently flown by New Jersey State Police helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Her injuries are not considered life threatening. The driver remained on scene and has been cooperating with the police investigation, Lt. Bailey said. The motorist is not being identified at this time.
