Pet Blessing to be Held October 4 at Christian Brothers Academy
The community is invited to bring their pets for a ceremony and pet blessing on the CBA campus.
The Action for Animals group at Christian Brothers Academy, 850 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, will host its annual Blessing of the Pets on Wednesday, October 4 at 4:30 p.m. The brief ceremony will be held outside the chapel, near the entrance to the school campus.
Father John Zec of the CBA Campus Ministry will preside over the ceremony and holy water will be dispersed among the pets.
The event is open to the community. For safety reasons, animals should be leashed, transported in carriers or protected by pet gates during the ceremony.

In the event of rain, the event will take place in the CBA school entrance foyer.
Action for Animals is a student organization which supports animal welfare causes including pet adoptions, pet therapy for seniors and fundraising for homeless animals.
