Possible Human Bone Found on Sandy Hook
A couple out shelling in Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreation Area unearthed what wasn't exactly marine life Monday morning.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - A couple out shelling in Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreation Area unearthed what wasn't exactly marine life: Instead, they found what may be a human bone.
While shelling on Sandy Hook Monday morning, Eric Decibus and Heather Rusczyk found what appeared to be a human leg bone sticking out of the sand on North Beach, according to a report on the Asbury Park Press.
Decibus pulled the bone out of the sand and "It just kept coming and coming, and I realized I had somebody's leg bone," he told the APP.

"We do not know if it is human or animal," Daphne Yun, a spokeswoman for Gateway National Recreation Area, confirmed to Patch. "It has been taken by the Middletown police department to the medical examiner's office."
