MIDDLETOWN, NJ — This past Monday, a dog got into a fight with a raccoon in the area of Parkview Terrace in Lincroft, Middletown Twp. announced on Facebook.Middletown animal control officers captured the raccoon, and the animal was sent to the state lab for testing.Results came back Wednesday that the raccoon was rabid. The dog was licensed and current on its rabies vaccination.
