Raccoon With Rabies Found In Middletown Twp.

A raccoon that was found in the area of Green Meadow Boulevard and Four Winds Drive last week tested positive for rabies.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A raccoon that was found in the area of Green Meadow Boulevard and Four Winds Drive last week tested positive for rabies, the Middletown Township Health Department announced Wednesday. A dog had contact with the raccoon last Wednesday, however that dog was current on its rabies shots.

The Middletown Township Health Department will be providing free rabies vaccinations for dogs only on October 14, 2017 (9 a.m. - 11 a.m.). The clinic will be held at the Croydon Hall Gym, 900 Leonardville Road in Leonardo. Call 732-615-2097 for more information.
