Romeo and Juliet @ the Middletown Public Library
This event will be held at the Middletown Public Library on June 27, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

“Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, will be performed by The Next Stage Ensemble, the touring company of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey:
In the hot summer streets of Verona, two idealistic teens discover love in a society consumed by senseless brutality. Filled with witty wordplay, lyric poetry and flashy sword-fights, Romeo and Juliet remains one of the most gripping and moving tragedies in Shakepeare’s canon.
The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is New Jersey’s only professional theatre company dedicated to Shakespeare’s canon and other classic masterworks. Through its productions and education programs, the company strives to illuminate the universal and lasting relevance of the classics for contemporary audiences.
