Roving Drunk Driving Patrols Across Monmouth County Friday Night

The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be deploying a number of roving drunk driving patrols Friday night, Oct. 25 countywide.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task force will be deploying an undisclosed amount of roving driving while intoxicated (DWI) saturation patrols on Friday night, October 25, the task force announced.

The DWI roving patrols will be spread out across Monmouth County to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

The patrols will be working varied hours, between 9 a.m. and 3 a.m., depending on the town.

All of the involved towns will deploy at least one officer to patrol strictly for the detection of drunk or drugged drivers and apprehension of drivers, said Allenhurst Police Chief Michael B. Schneider, task force coordinator.
