Sam's 2 Deli In Keansburg Sells $10K Lottery Ticket

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Check your pockets if you play the lottery.

That's because Sam's 2 market/deli on Palmer Avenue in Keansburg just sold a lottery ticket that won $10,000 last Friday, Jan. 5.

On Monday, Jan. 8, the NJ State Lottery announced all the winners from over the weekend:

One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $134,124 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Friday, January 5, drawing. The winning numbers were: 08, 10, 26, 27 and 37 and the XTRA number was: 04. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold. The winning ticket was sold at Walt’s Grocery, 4344 Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown in Gloucester County.

One lucky player purchased a ticket for the $5 Jersey Jackpot ticket winning $25,302, 50% of the progressive jackpot, on Sunday, January 7. Fast Play Progressive tickets are sold at any retailer and offer a fast way for players to see if their ticket is a lucky winner. The winning ticket was sold at Metro Liquor, 100 Broadway, Elmwood Park in Bergen County.
