School Bus Overturns On Parkway In Monmouth County

A school bus overturned on the Garden State Parkway Monday afternoon, and injuries were reported, according to authorities.

Two lanes on the express side of the parkway were blocked near Exit 109 in the Middletown and Tinton Falls area after the accident, according to state transportation officials.

The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m., and two adults were on the bus, though they weren't seriously injured. There were no children on board, according to The Asbury Park Press.
