See 'Peter And The Starcatcher' At Thompson Park Theater Barn

LINCROFT, NJ — This September, the Monmouth County Park System will present "Peter and the Starcatcher" at the Thompson Park Theater Barn in Lincroft.

A prequel to the beloved classic Peter Pan, this play tells the story of how the boy who wouldn’t grow up came to Neverland with heart, humor and music.

Contrary to its theme and name, this is actually theater meant more for adults, or for children ages 10 and up. It is not a child's play, per se.

It is produced by Mickey and Judy Productions.

Daily shows are offered Thursday-Saturday, September 16-18. The schedule is as follows:

• Thursday, September 16 from 7-9:30 p.m.
• Friday, September 17 from 7-9:30 p.m.
• Saturday, September 18 from 2-4:30 p.m.
