They've been filming in town since Aug. 27, and they are expected to be here through at least Friday, Keansburg Mayor George Hoff told Patch Tuesday. He did not know if they will remain in town through Labor Day weekend.
"They've really been mostly sticking to the amusement park. They haven't been spotted too much over town, at least to my knowledge," he said.

Sandler and Hayek are reprising their roles as husband and wife in the hit movie series.
Sandler has been living in Short Hills while the movie films in New Jersey, NJ Monthly reported. Actress Maria Bello, also in the movie, was spotted in Keansburg last week.
"Grown Ups 3" filmed all over New Jersey, including in Woodbridge's Colonia section. There, Sandler, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and actress Jamie Chung filmed on Wendy Road, a quiet residential street in early August. A day after that, Sandler was spotted filming at Rod’s Steak & Seafood, a restaurant inside the Madison Hotel in Morristown.
"Grown Ups 3" is produced by Netflix. The state of New Jersey gives film studios millions in tax credits if they film movies here. Before he left office, Gov. Phil Murphy said he had the goal to turn New Jersey into the next Hollywood or L.A., as he made the state very attractive to movie studios by giving them tax breaks and tax credits.
This third installment of "Grown Ups" will the first movie in the franchise made without Cameron Boyce, who played Sandler and Hayek’s oldest son in the first two movies. Boyce died in 2019 at the age of 20, when he suffered a seizure. He died in his sleep. He was undergoing ongoing treatment for epilepsy, a lifelong condition he had.
Sandler wrote all three "Grown Up" scripts with writing partner Tim Herlihy. This time, "Grown Ups 3" will not be released in theaters; it will go straight to Netflix.
