KEANSBURG, NJ — Here's something to get your week started on a positive note: Someone shared this beautiful video of a humpback whale spotted off Keansburg this past weekend.
The whale was seen over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The video was taken by Jennifer Acampora and it shows the humpback cresting the water not far offshore at all, and feeding on a massive school of bunker. Whales are increasingly common off the Jersey Shore and in Raritan Bay.
Acampora first shared the video with News 12 New Jersey.
