MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A serious single-car crash occurred on the Garden State Parkway through Middletown Tuesday afternoon, according to NJ State Police.
The crash involved only one vehicle and it occurred just before 2 p.m. in the express lanes northbound near milepost 112.7, which is in Middletown.
Other media outlets reported the driver was trapped inside the car and had to be taken by helicopter to a local hospital, but State Police said they could not confirm that.
