So Much Fun Awaits At Monmouth County Fair 2018
Feel the excitement of the Monmouth County Fair, held Wednesday-Sunday, July 25-29 at the East Freehold Showgrounds!

FREEHOLD, NJ — Whether it’s your first time going or an annual outing with family and friends, this year’s Monmouth County Fair promises to delight. From the dazzling sights and sounds of the midway to the scent of popcorn and cotton candy in the air, the 2018 Monmouth County Fair offers thrilling rides, exciting entertainment, tasty treats, and tons of things to see and do.
Held Wednesday-Sunday, July 25-29, at the East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road in Freehold, the Monmouth County Fair features rides, opening night fireworks, live musical entertainment, Home and Garden Competitions, 4-H shows and exhibits, and much more. Highlights of this year’s event include Wheel of Destiny, Great Hula Hoop, Hell on Wheels BMX Stunt Show, Red Mustang Robo Car and Hilby the Skinny German Juggling Boy.
There will be plenty of returning favorites including Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, Robinson’s Racing Pigs and Mutts Gone Nuts. Once again Bwana Jim will bring his unique collection of snakes, gators and exotic creatures for an educational and high-spirited show. Then be sure to catch the racing pigs as they compete for a cookie amid cheers and squeals from the crowd. The high jinx continues when the high-energy canine performers of Mutts Gone Nuts delight audiences of all ages with their antics.

Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, Robinson’s Racing Pigs and Mutts Gone Nuts will be at the Fair all five nights.
Once again, the Fair rides are provided by Reithoffer Shows and will feature a separate Kids Zone Ride Area that’s perfect for younger children. Families and little ones will enjoy the Circus Train, Bumble Bees, Wiggle Worm and more. Those looking for excitement should check out the Tango, Sky Flyer and Orbiter.

The Fair gate is open 5-11 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday, July 25-27; 3-11 p.m. on Saturday, July 28; and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 29. Admission is $8 per person; children age 12 and under are free. Sunday offers free admission for seniors and active duty military.
Each day of the also features 4-H shows & exhibits, the Home & Garden Competition plus an FFA Local Produce Stand, crafters, commercial vendors and so much more! A full schedule of daily activities and vendors is available online at www.MonmouthCountyFair.com.
Those looking to get the most out of their visit can take advantage of ride wristbands. Available daily, these wristbands allow fairgoers to enjoy unlimited rides on any one day. Ride wristbands can be purchased online at Reithoffer Shows’ website (www.reithoffershows.com) for $25 each. Online sales end July 24.
Wristbands will also be available for purchase at the Fair for $25 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; and $30 on Friday and Saturday. Single ride tickets will also be available daily. Please note that rides are weather permitting.
