South Brunswick Teen Honored For Acceptance To Naval Academy

More than a dozen students from New Jersey were recently congratulated for their acceptance into military academies.

The students attended a reception in the Newark office of U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, according to a news release from his office.

Jeffrey Wu of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick has been accepted into the U.S. Naval Academy.

Wu graduated from South Brunswick High School earlier this month.

The “nominees were chosen for their excellent academic record, distinctive recommendations, and strong character, among other criteria,’’ the news release said.
