Staffing Issues Delay Bulk Trash Collection In Middletown's North Zone

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Bulk trash collection will be delayed in part of Middletown because the township's contracted garbage collection company is having staffing issues.

The township said bulk collection in the north zone is delayed, and asks residents to keep their bulk items by the curb, as crews are working through July 2 "until all items are collected."

Bulk items include wood furniture, mattresses and box springs, carpets and padding, and couches.

Middletown has a contract with Solterra Recycling Solutions.

As a reminder, the recycling center is closed for renovations until August 11.
