In the past few years, craft brews have been springing up all over the place, and this is your chance to try some at a discounted price and have your beer questions answered by Mike Kivowitz of NewJerseyCraftBeer.com.

Why you should go: Whether you run the 5K, walk at a comfortable pace, or cheer from the sidelines, you can help support Crack the Code in their fight to find out what causes breast cancer. The proceeds from race registration and donations go to fund research into the cause of this all-too-common disease. Come out to support the women in your life.

Why you should go: In a time when funds are limited and waste is rampant, a rummage sale can help save money and save the planet ... plus it's lots of fun! Come find a wide array of great second-hand deals. All proceeds will go to benefit the church's missions programs, which provide community services to the area. How can you go wrong?
What it will cost: As little or as much as you like! Be sure to bring cash.
When & where: Saturday, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at in Freehold
Why you should go: If you've been looking for an excuse to "swing your partner round and round," then here it is. This lively fundraising event will benefit the Freehold High School Music Department and Knights of Columbus charities. Square dance the night away.
What it will cost: $25 per couple, $7 per student in advance; $15 per adult, $10 per student at the door

Why you should go: This locally-based symphony orchestra will feature the music of Hungary, including works by composers Haydn and Ernst von Dohnányi. A preconcert talk will begin at 2:15 p.m. It's an afternoon of excellent music and a bit of culture close to home.
