Monmouth Museum’s Teddy Bear Tea Sunday, March 29th!

The Monmouth Museum has announced the upcoming date for its best-selling Teddy Bear Tea. Children 3-8 years old are cordially invited to enjoy an afternoon with their favorite furry friend for Polite Conversation, Lesson on Manners, Teddy Bear Parade, Gourmet Treats and Music Entertainment featuring “Little Rockers!”

Whimsically designed for young guests and their families, the beloved Teddy Bear Tea will be presented from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on March 29, 2020 at the Navesink Country Club, Red Bank, NJ. The Teddy Bear Tea menu features delectable treats of finger sandwiches, plus sliced fresh fruit, chef’s selection of English tea pastries, chocolate chip and sugar cookies, brownies, mini scones, and macaroons. A choice of children’s beverages includes scented and fruit-flavored teas, pink lemonade, assorted soft drinks and coffee and cash bar for adults.

Dancing and Singing with the “Little Rockers,” a Teddy Bear Parade, teddy bear take home craft, chance auction and a lesson on Manners with the very polite Taphy Harscar, will all be part of the fun afternoon.

The Friends of the Monmouth Museum are a group of volunteers that support the Museum’s ongoing educational and art programs. These Museum members hold monthly meetings where they plan a variety of fundraisers including the Teddy Bear Tea and special lecture/luncheons. The Friends of the Monmouth Museum have become life-long friends, making friendships that enrich their lives immeasurably.

ABOUT MONMOUTH MUSEUM

The Monmouth Museum, a 15,000 square foot cultural center, is one of the largest independent museums in New Jersey.
