MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Middletown police announced Tuesday evening they received numerous reports of an alleged threat to Bayshore Middle School stemming from an Instagram and SnapChat post being shared by students.

Specifically, the threat referenced something would happen Wednesday, December 4.

However, the threat was investigated to its original poster and has been found not to be credible, said police.
