Three CBA Soccer Players Commit to Division I Teams
The teens, from Freehold and Wall, thanked departing soccer head coach Dan Keane.
Lincroft, NJ - Christian Brothers Academy seniors, and soccer players, Nicholas Meyer, Athanasios Scheidt and Joseph Gordon Meyer signed their their National Letters of Intent Wednesday to play Divison 1 college sports. Gordon is from Freehold; Scheidt and Meyer are from Wall Township.
Meyer will play soccer at Fordham University
“It’s a great feeling to sign,” Meyer said. “It’s amazing to be able to continue to play the sport I love at my top choice school. Being a part of Coach Keane’s last season was so humbling.”

Scheidt stays close to home, at Rutgers University squad. “I’m really excited to get to Rutgers and show everyone that I deserve to be there,” he said.
And Gordon will play soccer at Lafayette College.

“I really can’t wait to get to the next level and start working,” Gordon said. “ ... I thank legendary Coach Keane for getting me out on the field and providing his wisdom during my early career.”
