TINTON FALLS, NJ — A Tinton Falls technology company received national recognition from the Department of Labor this week for hiring a high number of veterans.
Out of its 410 full and part-time employees, AASKI Technology, Inc. currently employ 18 National Guard reservists and 100 veterans. The company was given a HIRE Vets medallion this month for its work. The commendation from the federal Dept. of Labor is brand new and 2018 is the first year they have given such medallions out.
AASKI was one of only six employers in New Jersey in 2018 to receive a medallion under the program.

Because AASKI partners with the Dept. of Defense, they actively recruit and hire veterans. They also provide technology support to financial firms and pharmaceutical companies.
“Congratulations to AASKI Technology for the exemplary work they have done supporting the service men and women who have served our country, helping them transition into civilian life,” said Monmouth County's congressman, Rep. Chris Smith, who voted for the legislation—the 2017 Consolidated Appropriations Act—that created the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) program.
