Tinton Falls Man Found Guilty On Child Porn Charges
State Police and other law enforcement traced his computer's IP address to his Tinton Falls home in 2017.
TINTON FALLS, NJ — A Tinton Falls man was found guilty Monday by a Monmouth County jury for the possession and distribution of child sex abuse materials, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.
Robert Mack, 35, of Tinton Falls was convicted of second- and third-degree child endangerment, distribution and possession of child sex abuse material and invasion of privacy.
Police say that in 2017, a joint investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office, along with the NJ State Police and Tinton Falls Police revealed that Mack was downloading and sharing child sex abuse materials from a computer located at his home in Tinton Falls.

The Internet Crimes Against Children task force, run by the NJ State Police, can track a computer's IP address to an address anywhere in America or the world.
Mack was also in possession of hard drives containing child sexual abuse materials, said police.

Further investigation concluded that Mack also had videos of an adult woman with her intimate parts exposed without her permission.
He was indicted in October 2018.
Mack faces more than 10 years in a New Jersey state prison. Upon release, he must also register for Megan’s Law; will be under parole supervision for life and will have Internet restrictions.
He will be sentenced by Monmouth County Superior Court by Judge Lourdes Lucas on February 14, 2022.
