Tinton Falls Rite Aid Now Has Drive-Thru COVID Testing

This is a drive-through nasal swab and it is offered entirely for free. You do not need to have symptoms.

TINTON FALLS, NJ — This Friday, Rite Aid will open two additional no-charge COVID drive-through testing sites in New Jersey.

The sites are:

  • 596 Shrewsbury Avenue in Tinton Falls, NJ
  • 2791 S Delsea Drive in Vineland, NJ

Both the Rite Aids will start offering the free COVID testing this Friday, Sept. 25.

The testing sites will use a simple self-swab nasal test, overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists and will operate between the hours of 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Sat-Sun). All adults 18 and older, even if they are not exhibiting virus symptoms, are eligible for testing. You need to pre-register at www.riteaid.com. Patients can begin scheduling appointments online for the new locations today.

Flu shots are now also available at all Rite Aid pharmacies in New Jersey.

Through its partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Rite Aid now operates a total of 303 testing sites across 15 states, including 39 new locations this week in California, Oregon, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.
