Middletown-Area Merchants Getting Ready For The Prom

About 100 juniors and seniors from Middletown HS North and surrounding high schools spent Friday afternoon learning about tuxedos, dresses, limos, flowers, hair, from a dozen local vendors at a Prom Expo held at the school.

Students had the chance to go on a party bus and sample cuisine from Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, the place the Middletown HS North senior prom will be held on May 17. 

The event was sponsored by the senior class council.

Senior Class Advisor John Kerrigan said, "We would like to thank the vendors, Board of Education President Joan Minnuies, and fashion teacher Gail McLaughlin for their support. We look forward to a larger turnout next year."
