Toys Given To 250 Middletown Families Just In Time For Christmas

This past Saturday, Middletown Helps Its Own dropped off toys, many donated by IMA patients, to 250 Middletown families in need.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Patients at IMA urgent and primary care centers donated more than 2,000 toys to help local Middletown families in need this Christmas season.

All the toys were given to Middletown Helps Its Own. This past Saturday, Middletown Helps Its Own dropped off the toys to 250 Middletown families that have been identified as in need of extra help.

Since 1964, the all-volunteer non-profit Middletown Helps Its Own has been helping Middletown families. This year, Middletown Helps Its Own delivered more than 250 food baskets and toy baskets to local families.

IMA thanked its patients for their generosity.

“We are always amazed at the generosity of our patients and staff," said Dr. Roger Thompson. "This year, we collected a record amount of toys and are happy that these toys will help provide a very happy holiday for local families."
