History of the Underground Railroad in New Jersey at Middletown Public Library
Event will be held at the Middletown Public Library and presented by Dr. Linda Epps on October 29, 2014 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
As our commemoration of the 350th anniversary of New Jersey, as well as the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, come to a close--attend this fascinating presentation about the escape system that helped slaves escape to freedom, including a discussion of Monmouth County Underground Railroad landmarks.
