Math Tutoring: Need help with Math? Sign up for a free tutor at the library. Tutors are high school honor students and are available for Math from Kindergarten through Pre-Calculus. Tutoring sessions are 30 minutes long. Monday, January 14th beginning @ 6:30 pm, Tuesday, January 15th beginning @ 4:00 pm. Register online for the particular session.

Crochet for a Cause: Join us to crochet blankets, scarves or hats to donate. If you do not know how to crochet, we will teach you. Wednesday, January 16th @ 3:30 pm.

Reading Buddies: Each child will be paired with a teen Reading Buddy to practice reading skills by reading out loud. Register for one of the time slots. Wednesday, January 16th; Thursday, January 17th.

Learning to Code for Artificial Intelligence: Learn coding (python), watch cool demos, and apply skills to artificial intelligence with computer-generated art and poetry. Wednesday, January 16th @ 4:00 pm.

Cooking Class: Learn to make a quick and easy meal of Rice and Bean Bowls with Corn and Avocado Crema. Allergy Alert. Thursday, January 17th @ 3:00 pm.

HYGEE Hangout: Hygge (pronounced hue-gah) is Danish for cozy, warm or homey. It is a national pastime that is expressed in homespun pleasures involving candlelight, knitted socks, coffee, cake, family, and friends. It's a good way to cope with long, dark winters. Join us as we transform our cafe area to a space where we can create, play and enjoy the moment with the Hygge spirit. Wear comfy clothes and bring a favorite pillow and/or blanket. Learn how to finger knit, make a gnome, play games or puzzles or just cozy up by the fire and read. Allergy Alert - hot cocoa will be served. For ages 7+. Monday, January 14th @ 4:00 pm.
