PEACE DAY PROJECT: Together-Peace Is Possible! We're inviting our community to come together to create symbols of peace. Whether it be a quilt square, a tile, a poster, an origami crane or just drawing a picture, they can all be symbols of peace. All the items will be on display throughout the library in time for the season of “Peace on earth and goodwill towards all”. Wednesday, November 7th.

Abilities in Action Free Screening: Free 20-minute speech screenings and/or fine motor screenings by a licensed speech therapist and a licensed occupational therapist. The evaluation findings are compared with expected age levels and can help those preschool children who may benefit from a more thorough evaluation. Information will be available regarding alternatives for more extensive evaluations. Registration is required for each appointment and made be done in person or by phone at 732-671-3700, Ext 340. Separate appointments must be made for both screenings. For ages 3-5. Monday, November 5th beginning @ 9:10 am.

Adventures of LEGO Star Wars: A special Star Wars® themed LEGO® building program where you will train to become a Jedi Master. Design your own space ship for our Star Wars® minifigures and compete in a LEGO® light saber battle. Bond over a love of Star Wars® and LEGO® bricks as we become true Jedi in this fun interactive program. May the force be with you! For ages 7+. Monday, November 5th @ 1:00 pm.

Hop On Over For Reading Bunnies: Independent readers can hop on over to practice reading skills with one of our 4-H bunnies. It encourages children to read by providing a non-judgmental listener in our fluffy friends. Either bring along a book or pick one out from our collection. Children will read to a bunny for five minutes. For Grades K-5. Monday, November 5th @ 4:00 pm.

Toddler Time: Toddlers learn by playing, moving, touching, making noise, looking at books, and being loved. Each toddler should bring a favorite grown-up to share in the fun and learning. For ages 15-32 months. A Drop-In program. Tuesday,, November 6th @ 10:00 am.

Kids Playgroup: An all-ages playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Adults chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising children's play. A Drop-In program. Tuesday, November 6th @ 10:30 am.

Lapsit Storytime: Introduce your baby to the library during this gentle lapsit program for pre-walkers accompanied by a grown-up. A Drop-In program. Thursday, November 8th @ 10:00 am.
