Tools for Achievement: Study Skills for High School and Beyond - A 60-minute workshop presented by Huntington Learning Center for parents and students in high school or college who are facing challenging course work while managing daily responsibilities. Learn how to develop the study skills needed to achieve success in school and reach full academic potential. Tuesday, March 19th @ 7:00 pm.

Knotted Scoubidou - Make variations of Scoubidou using plastic lace, make a key chain, bracelet, or lanyard. All supplies will be provided. Wednesday, March 20th @ 3:30 pm.

Mosaic Tile Design - Use different glass tile colors and sizes to create a one-of-a-kind design in this two-day program. Create and glue the design the first day and allow the adhesive to dry before applying grout the second day. Wednesday, March 20th, Friday, March 22nd @ 3:30 pm.

Crochet for a Cause - Crochet blankets, scarves or hats to donate. If you do not know how to crochet we will teach you! For teens in grades 6-12. Earn community service hours for participation. Thursday, March 21st @ 3:30 pm.

Chess and Table Top Games - If you haven’t played before, we will teach you. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun. No registration required. Friday, March 22nd @ 3:30 pm.

Read to a Dog - Trained therapy dogs will be on hand for our young readers to practice reading skills. Reading to our furry friends is highly motivational and fun, building confidence and self-esteem. Children will read to a dog for five minutes, and have a second turn if time allows. There will be "reading buddies" available for younger siblings as well as for the K-5 readers to practice with prior to their "dog time." For independent readers grades K-5. Monday, March 18th @ 4:30 pm.

Magical Musical Me meets on Tuesday, March 19th @ 10:00 am.

Kids Playgroup - An all-ages playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Adults chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising children's play. A Drop-In program. Tuesday, March 19th @ 10:30 am.
