NEW AT THE LIBRARY: Tutoring Center. A space specially designed and designated for tutors and their students to work in a quiet and collaborative environment. Stop in and check it out. Located at the rear of the Reference Room.
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN – Melissa Ziobro, Monmouth University’s specialist professor of public history and curator of the upcoming Bruce Springsteen exhibit at the Monmouth County Historical Association Museum, will present an enjoyable and fascinating talk about Freehold’s famous Bruce. Wednesday, March 27th @ 7:00 pm.
NEW: TEDxMTPL Discussion Group will meet monthly to watch a short TEDx video followed by a discussion about the topic, themes and subject discussed in the talk. First meeting Thursday, March 28th @ 7:00 pm. Register online @ mtpl.org.

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS, a peer-led volunteer local job search support and networking group, meets on Monday, March 25th @ 7:00 pm.

Cardboard Challenge - Get creative with cardboard and other recyclables to make a unique creation/invention. Participants will work in pairs since "two heads are better than one’ then vote on the best overall creation. A #MAKERMARCH event. Tuesday, March 26th @ 3:45 pm.
Chess and Table Top Games - If you haven’t played before, we will teach you. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun. No registration required. Friday, March 29th @ 3:30 pm.

Scratch Coding with Code Ninjas - Learn to code through our engaging game-based curriculum that teaches teamwork, logic, math, and problem solving. Gain vital skills while having a blast.
