What's Happening at Middletown Township Public Library 4/14-20/19

Free programs at the Middletown Township Public Library

Due to the closing of New Monmouth Road for repaving the week of April 15th, programs scheduled after 5:00 pm are cancelled/rescheduled. Please check our website for updates.

NOTE: Due to the closing of New Monmouth Road, the Board of Trustees meeting will be held in Town Hall Conference Room, 1 Kings Highway, Middletown. Meeting is open to the public.

GREAT GARDEN SHORTCUTS presented by Rutgers Master Gardener Bernard Dickman. Wednesday, April 17th @ 4:00 pm.

RUTH CROWN MEMORIAL EXHIBIT, presented by the Art Society of Monmouth County, through April 27th.

MOVIE MONDAYS presents Green Book (rated PG-13) on April 15th @ 2:30 pm.

Creative Writing: Start with a writing exercise at each meeting, work on personal writing projects, and share with each for constructive feedback. Monday, April 15th @ 3:30 pm.

Math Tutoring: Need help with Math? Sign up for a free tutor at the library. Tutors are high school honor students and are available for Math from Kindergarten through Pre-Calculus. Tutoring sessions are 30 minutes long. Monday, Tuesday, April 16th beginning @ 4:00 pm. Register online for the particular session.

Film Making Group meets on Friday, April 19th @ 3:30 pm.

Read to a Dog: Trained therapy dogs will be on hand for young readers to practice reading skills. There will be “reading buddies” available for younger siblings and readers to practice with prior to their “dog time”. For independent readers only, grades K-5. Monday, April 15th @ 4:30 pm.

Reading Buddies: Each child will be paired with a teen Reading Buddy to practice reading skills by reading out loud. Register for one of the time slots. Wednesday, April 17th beginning @ 3:30 pm.
