FOOD DRIVE FOR LUNCHBREAK – Share the bounty of your garden with our community. Bring your excess produce and/or non-perishable food items. LUNCHBREAK will share the food with those in need. Food bins will be located in the Library lobby. Thursday, August 10th, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm; Friday, August 11th, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.

How to Compost with Tom from the Rutgers Master Gardeners. Reduce waste and feed your garden with rich compost soil! Wednesday, August 9th @ 7:00 pm.

Mini-Maker Camp - Create and explore the world of science, technology, engineering, art & math (STEAM) to include hands-on activities. Students from Allied Health and Science will be leading the program. For ages 6-10. Monday, August 7th @ 3:00 pm.
Solar Eclipse Event – Learn viewing safety and view a 3-D preview of the eclipse with NASA’s eyes-on-eclipse web-based simulation. Receive a pair of eclipse glasses. Tuesday, August 8th @ 3:45 pm.
Ocean Critters – Learn about mysteries found on the sandy beach, in the deep sea, and about ways to make a difference for marine animals. For grades K-5. Wednesday, August 9th @ 2:45 pm.
Turtle Tales - Learn about the natural world through stories, live animals, rhymes, games, songs & crafts. Thursday, August 10th @ 10:00 am.

NOTE: Road Construction on New Monmouth Road
The library is open, but New Monmouth Road is closed from the Route 35 side. You must enter New Monmouth Road from the Leonardville Road/Tindall Road side. There are cones blocking the road, but tell the police officers that you are going to the library and you will be let through. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN THE PARKING LOT. AS ONLY ONE ENTRANCE IS OPEN, THERE WILL BE 2-WAY TRAFFIC. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY.
