Winter Holiday Express – The Magic of Diversity: Magic Jim takes us on an imaginary train ride around the world! Using books that can be found in the library, Jim teaches how different cultures celebrate the winter holidays. With lots of humor and audience participation, learn about Kwanzaa, Diwali, Solstice, Ramadan, Hanukkah, and Christmas. A Drop-In program. Sunday, December 4th @ 2:30 pm.

Kids Playgroup: A playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Grown-ups can chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising their children’s play. A Drop-In program for all ages. Tuesday, December 6th @ 10:30 am.

Reading Buddies: A child learning how to read or struggling with reading is paired with a Reading Buddy! The child chooses a book and reads aloud to their Buddy. Reading Buddies who will help with correct pronunciation, increasing vocabulary, and understanding. what they have read. Upon registration you will be contacted to determine an appointment time at 2:00 , 2:30, 3:00, or 3:30 pm. For ages 3-12. Saturday, December 10th.
