AARP Income Tax Assistance, Mondays through Wednesday by appointment only. Register in person at the Reference Desk each Saturday at 9:00 am for slots available the following week. First come, first served. Slots go quickly.

BCUG PC Roundtable: Discuss your PC problems with the experts in this drop-in program. This is a discussion group, not a class. Tuesday, March 28th @ noon.
Introduction to PowerPoint: Learn to create PowerPoint Presentations as well as adding transitions and images to make it interesting. Tuesday, March 28th @ 7:00 pm.

Debate Club: Learn how to debate be using the National Forensics League debate topics. Debate for either the Pro or Con Argument. Improve your public speaking, writing, and researching skills. Monday, March 27th @ 3:30 pm.
Peer Tutoring: High school honor students tutor in Spanish, French, Science, History and English/Language Arts. For grades 6-9, Monday, March 27th @ 7:00 pm.
Physics Study Group: Join the study group, work together on physics problems, and get assistance from the group leader, Ryan (of High Technology High School). Monday, March 27th @ 7:00 pm.
Math Tutoring: Free tutoring sessions at the library in the Children’s Quiet Reading Area. Bring textbook and/or homework. Tutoring sessions are for 30 minutes and are scheduled at 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 4:30 pm. Upon registering, you will receive an email with your tutoring session time. Tutors are volunteer high school honors students. Tutoring for Calculus and above is not available. Tuesday, March 288th.
Handmade with Love – Knitting and Crocheting: Learn to knit or crochet, and improve your skills. We will be making and donating baby blankets to Blankie Depot. The blankets will go to families in need at local hospitals. Bring your own crochet hook or knitting needle; we will provide the yarn. Thursday, March 30th @ 3:30 pm.
Chess: If you haven’t played before, we will teach you. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun. No registration required. Friday, March 31st @ 3:30 pm.

Lapsit Storytime for Pre-Walkers: Introduce your baby to the library during this gentle lapsit program for pre-walkers accompanied by a grown-up. Rhymes, songs, puppets, and picture books encourage language development. Grown-ups get to socialize with other adults. Babies get used to being around other babies. For ages up to 32 months. Monday, March 27th @ 10:00 am.
Maker Monday: Explore, predict, tinker and make. This program will allow young people to develop confidence, creativity, and interest in science, technology, engineering, math, arts, and learning as a whole through making. For ages 7+. Monday, March 27th @ 3:45 pm.

Science Starts – Drop, Plop and Drift: Investigate and invent with your 4-7 year old and any siblings. Families will participate in hands on science activities as well as in a storytime featuring books related to the activities, Tuesday, March 28th @ 4:00 pm.
Rubber Duckie Book Club Storytime: Join us for fun and stories (for members of the Rubber Duckie Book Club/1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program). Wednesday, March 29th @ 10:00 am.

Reading Buddies: Children will be paired with a buddy to practice their reading skills by reading out loud. Studies show reading for about 20 minutes each day will improve childrens skills, especially if they read to someone! For ages 3-9. Saturday, April 1st @ 2:00 pm.
