Using Your Library Card Online: Did you know there are so many great resources you can access online, just by having a library card? Learn all the ways you can use your library card, from downloading movies to researching your ancestry. Thursday, May 25th @ 3:30 pm.

Debate Club: Learn how to debate using the National Forensics League debate topics each month. Debate for the Pro or Con Argument. Improve your public speaking, writing, and researching skills. Monday, May 22nd @ 3:30 pm.

Peer Tutoring: High school honor students tutor in Spanish, French, Science, History and English/Language Arts. For grades 6-9, Monday, May 22nd @ 7:00 pm.

Math Tutoring: Free tutoring sessions at the library in the Children’s Quiet Reading Area. Bring textbook and/or homework. Tutoring sessions are for 30 minutes and are scheduled at 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 4:30 pm. Upon registering, you will receive an email with your tutoring session time. Tutors are volunteer high school honors students. Tutoring for Calculus and above is not available. Tuesday, May 23rd.

Handmade with Love: Learn to knit or crochet or improve your skills. We will make and will donate baby blankets to Project Linus. The blankets will go to families in need at local hospitals. Thursday, May 25th @ 3:30 pm.

Physics Study Group: Study for tests, bring your homework, and ask any questions you may have. Work together to improve your Physics skills. Thursday, May25th @ 4:30 pm.

Chess: If you haven’t played before, we will teach you. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun. No registration required. Friday, May 26th @ 3:30 pm.

Toddler Time for Walkers: Toddlers learn by playing, moving, touching, making noise, looking at books, and being loved. Each toddler should bring a favorite grown-up to share in the fun and learning. For ages up to 32 months. Monday, May 22nd @ 10:00 am.

Maker Monday: Explore, predict, tinker and make. Young people develop confidence, creativity and interest in science, technology, engineering, math, arts, learning as a whole through making. For ages 7-12. Monday, May 22nd @ 3:45 pm.

Kids Playgroup: A playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Grown-ups can chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising their children’s play. A Drop-In program for all ages. Final session Tuesday, May 23rd @ 10:30 am.

Pete the Cat Rockin’ Reader Story Time: Join us for another awesome Rockin’ Reader Story Time. We will sing and read some favorite, as well as new, Pete the Cat stories. A game, craft and raffle will round out the fun. Thursday, May 25th @ 4:00 pm.

4-H SET Group: Workshops include robotics, programming, health, community, leadership, public speaking and organizational components. Members of the 4-H learn life skills in addition to engineering, design and development to program robots, while developing critical thinking faculties. For grades K-5. Thursday, May 25th @ 5:30 pm.

Lapsit Storytime for Pre-walkers: Introduce your infant to the library during this gentle lapsit program for pre-walkers accompanied by an adult. Rhymes, songs, puppets, and picture books encourage language development. Adults get to socialize and infants get used to be around other infants. For ages up to 32 months. Friday, May 26th @ 10:00 am.

Reading Buddies: Children will be paired with a buddy to practice their reading skills by reading out loud. Studies show reading for about 20 minutes each day will improve children’s skills, especially if they read to someone! For ages 3-9. Saturday, May 27th @ 2:00 pm.
