Where To See $4 Movies Sunday In Monmouth County

This Sunday, Aug 27 is National Cinema Day, where select movie theaters are offering $4 movies.

That represents a savings of more than half on a movie ticket, with prices averaging about $10.35.

Here are the participating theaters in Monmouth County:

• AMC Monmouth Mall 15180 Route 35, Eatontown
• AMC Freehold 14 101 Trotters Way, Freehold

Some cinema chains, including AMC Theatres and Regal Movies, are offering free popcorn and $5 sales on snacks, candy and soda.

The $4 tickets are good for all movies.

This is the second year for National Cinema Day, which is organized by the National Cinema Foundation. Participating theaters took in $23.8 million on National Cinema Day 2022, which was held on a Saturday. Ticket sales were 8 percent higher on that Saturday than the one prior.
