Who's Running For Monmouth County Freeholder/Clerk In 2020

It's Dems Michael Penna and Moira Nelson vs. Republicans Lillian Burry and Ross Licitra for two open seats, plus two Not Me. Us candidates.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — In the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, who can forget 2020 is an election year? And it's not just at the presidential level:

In Monmouth County, there are two Freeholder seats open this November. The Republican ticket is Freeholder Lillian Burry and Ross Licitra, backed by the Monmouth County Republican Organization.

Burry, of Colts Neck, seeks to keep her seat, which she has held since 2006. Freeholder Patrick Impreveduto will not be running again, so his seat is open. Licitra is a longtime Morganville resident, and for the past several years has been the executive director of the Monmouth County SPCA.
