Windansea Concert Tuesday Night to Fight JCPL Power Line Project

Don't forget! 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Windansea. Brian Kirk, Vinnie Brand & The Haven will all perform.

Highlands, NJ - Update: The Windansea fundraiser concert has been SOLD OUT. Unfortunately, there won't be any tickets sold at the door Tuesday night.

Tuesday night, Aug. 30, there will be a RAGE benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. at Windansea restaurant in Highlands.

Entertainment will be provided by Brian Kirk & The Jirks, Vinnie Brand and The Haven. (Yup, the same Vinnie Brand who's a stand-up comedian as well as a Middletown school board member and dramatically broke with the Board to take a vocal stance against the power lines. The Board later followed suit.) Coincidentally, Tuesday, Aug. 30 is the same day JCP&L must appear before the Board of Public Utilities for a public hearing concerning the approval of transferring JCP&L’s transmission assets to the Mid-Atlantic Interstate Transmission (MAIT).

It's $26.00 per person (including all fees) Tuesday night, and all money from admission sales goes directly to Residents Against Giant Electric, the massive group formed to fight Jersey Central Power & Light's power line proposal along the North Jersey Coast rail line.

If space is available, they will be selling at the door for $36 (cash or check). Please bring your confirmation email from PayPal to the event. This will be your admission ticket. They will have the list from PayPal at the door.
