Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Middletown

Did you buy a Jersey Cash 5 ticket in Middletown for Tuesday's drawing? If you did, check your ticket.

A winning Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket was sold in Middletown.

It was one of three winning tickets sold for Tuesday’s drawing, and each of those tickets is worth $144,615, according to lottery officials.

The ticket was sold at the Wilson Avenue Deli, 198 Wilson Ave. in the Port Monmouth section of town.

The other two winning tickets were sold in Atlantic and Union counties, at Harbor Liquors in Egg Harbor City and Elmora Valero in Elizabeth. Those tickets matched all five numbers drawn: 01, 06, 09, 10 and 23.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Harbor Liquors, Wilson Avenue Deli, and Elmora Valero,” state Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger said in a prepared statement. “For selling these winning tickets, each retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, they have become three more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
