Woman Found Dead In Car In Atlantic Highlands, Prosecutor Says
A woman was found dead inside a car in Atlantic Highlands Friday morning; police are investigating what caused her death.
ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — A woman was found dead inside a car in Atlantic Highlands Friday morning, announced Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.
An investigation into what caused her death is now underway.
The woman's body was found shortly before 7:45 a.m., when Atlantic Highlands Police were called to the area of Asbury Avenue between Navesink and Grand avenues. A passerby had discovered the woman in her car.

The woman, only identified as an adult, has yet to be identified, with a cause and manner of death pending the performance of an autopsy.
