Woman Held Against Will In Middletown Motel Room, Police Say
A Bronx woman told police a man held her against her will Sunday at the Hub motel on Rt. 35 in Middletown.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A Bronx woman told police a man held her against her will Sunday at the Hub motel on Rt. 35 in Middletown.
A local Middletown man was charged related to the incident.
At 10 a.m. Sunday, Middletown Police were called to The Hub, a motel located at 650 Rt. 35, for a report of a woman who had been held against her will in one of the motel's rooms.

Responding officers spoke with the victim, an adult woman from Bronx, who is not being identified by police. She told police she had been in one of the rooms with the man and wanted to leave, but he prevented her from doing so.
According to the victim, the man was threatening towards her, and was also in possession of a knife at the time.

The Middletown man had fled from the scene prior to police arrival; he was contacted by police and agreed to meet with officers. Connor Post, 29, of Middletown was arrested and charged with criminal restraint, terroristic threats, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (which drug was not identified) and unlawful possession of a weapon.
He was taken to the Monmouth County jail in Freehold.
