$5K In Merchandise Stolen From Bloomingdale's: Millburn Police

A total of eight pocketbooks were taken, according to police.

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Police Department are searching for a trio who stole more than $5,000 worth of merchandise from Bloomingdale's on Jan. 31, according to authorities.

According to police, Millburn Police Officer Royce responded to Bloomingdale's on a theft report where employees said two women and a man took eight pocketbooks valued at $5,300 from the store and left without making payment.

The suspects were described as a black female wearing a black baseball cap and black jacket, a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a black female wearing a black jacket and jeans, police said.

The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
