$8,000 Handbag Heist In Millburn: Police

Four bags stolen from the Salvatore Ferragamo store in the Mall at Short Hills.

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Police are looking for the person responsible for stealing four handbags worth more than $8,000 on Sept. 18.

According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to the Salvatore Ferragamo store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report where personnel reported a woman took four handbags valued at $8,320 and ran out of the store without making payment.

Police describe the suspect as a black female wearing a green/blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and flip flops.
