Alleged Package Thief Arrested: Millburn Police

Jason Freeman was arrested with the assistance of Newark Police.

MILLBURN, NJ - A joint effort with Newark Police led to the arrest of a man for taking packing from a Park Road home, according to the Millburn Police Department.

On Dec. 8 Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to headquarters to take a theft report. A Park Road resident reported the theft of packages valued at $424.16 on Dec. 5, police said. The investigation led to the arrest of 45-year-old Jason Freeman of Newark by Detective Reblelo with the assistance of the Newark Police Department, police said.

Freeman was charged with theft and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility, police said.
