The usually somewhat busy restaurant.mc has been dark this week after the Main Street restaurant closed its doors for the final time.
The sidewalk tables and chairs are piled up inside and no one is in sight at the restaurant, and most of the signs hanging in the door have been removed. But there are no signs alerting people that the restaurant has closed.
When reached by e-mail early Thursday afternoon, owner Marc Cooperman said he'd release a statement later in the day. As of just before 5 p.m. he had yet to release a statement.

The restaurant, which is one of a handful of downtown establishments with a liquor license, has cut back on its hours in recent months. It had been open on Mondays for dinner, but Monday hours had been cut.
