Author Talk: Innovative Indian Cuisine with Supriya Nabar

Local author Supriya Nabar will come to the Millburn Library on April 11, 2019 at 2:00pm to talk about her book about Indian cuisine.

The Millburn Free Public Library is pleased to host local author Supriya Nabar on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2:00pm in the auditorium. Ms. Nabar will be talking about her book Innovative Indian Cuisine. She will provide samples of her cooking, as well as a discussion of health and spices. In addition, books will be available for purchase.

From the Amazon description: "Innovative Indian Cuisine is a book which sets out to take Indian recipes and modify it to the modern lifestyle. There are recipes in this book which are traditional such as Tandoori Chicken and Shrimp Pilaf and then there are recipes which have been tweaked to make them healthy and nutritious. The book consists of 9 sections. There are Appetizers, Soups and Dals, Salads and Vegetables, Rice and Breads, Chicken dishes, Lamb dishes, Fish Dishes, Egg Dishes and Desserts. Please note that most of the ingredients used in this book are found in Indian Cookery."
